The Swan Lake cabin is a new addition to our rental facilities. This building was constructed in the 1950's and used to be the Swan Lake Concession Stand. The building has since been lightly remodeled and converted into a cabin. We think you will enjoy it!

A restroom and sink are available inside the cabin, and showers are located a short walk away. A queen bed is located in a separate bedroom, and a pull-out couch and bunk beds are located in the living room. Combined sleeping capacity is 6 people. There is a stove, microwave, sink, and refrigerator inside the cabin. The Sauk Rail Trail is just a couple of steps outside the cabin, and the Swan Lake campground is just a short walk away. A grill is located outside the cabin.

A window A/C unit provides relief from the summertime. No heat is available, so bring extra blankets if you're renting in the early spring or late fall. Electrical outlets are spaced throughout the cabin.

The cabin rents for $55 from May 1 through October 31. Included in the rental price is a free coupon for paddleboat or canoe rental. A $50 refundable clean-up deposit is required. Check-in time is after 2pm, and check-out time is 11am. There is a two-night minimum stay for weekends, and a 14 day maximum stay per month.

Please call the conservation office at (712) 792-4614 for additional information or if you would like to tour the cabin.
