Mission:
The Carroll County Conservation Board (CCCB) is entrusted to maintain and preserve parks, lakes, timber, streams, wetlands, and other natural resources to provide for outdoor recreation in Carroll County, Iowa.

 

Recreational Opportunities:
The CCCB manages 24 areas totaling 2,500 acres for public use, wildlife habitat, and natural areas. Some popular recreational uses include: picnicking, camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, and boating. During the winter months cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing are popular.
